The L4 was released in 2006...and only cameras released early 2007 and onwards are able to use SDHC cards. So, you can only use SD cards with a maximum capacity of 2GB. However, you may want to look at some newer models with more features such as image stabilization, face and smile detection, etc. That model does not read the newer SDHC format cards. I know the L4 is only 3 or 4 years old, but it's a pretty basic (and none to clever) camera, time to upgrade maybe?
