What is the best Nikon Camera that is Cheap?
Jackiie Louu
What is the best Nikon camera that is not too expensive but is great quality? I am really into photography mostly nature like sunsets and storms but people too and I am looking for a new camera. I am not even 100% sure if Nikon in the best type of camera but I have always been interested in them.
If anyone is a photographer and has some tips on which camera to look at and what has worked for them that would be great.
Thank you so much!
Also if you have site links to any of the cameras you list that would be helpful but if not that is okay.
And also I just started photography so nothing incredibly heavy duty.
Do you have any words to share!

Personally, i would recommend the fujifilm series. In particular, this one:
I have the predeccsor and it had to be the best digital camera i have used and for a reasonable price. Pictures are crystal clear and zoom is brilliant.
This one is also very similar and slightly cheaper buy about £100:
If you can afford the 1st one, then get one, one of the best camera’s on the market for less that £200!!!
Both are simple to operate and not to bulky!!!
Nikon D40 & Nikon D60
are we talking film or digital?
For film, a used F100 or N90x would be the cheapest good camera.
For digital look for a used D50…
If you are dedicated to getting it cheap then don’t get a new camera… they don’t hold their value very well and you can get decent results with the right used equipment when you starting out.
DO NOT get a new D40, D40x or D60… they aren’t much more advanced than a D50 and are in fact less advanced in some areas not to mention they are not as compatible with existing Nikon lenses as the D50.
