Excellent review, thanks!
Can I shoot a wedding with this camera?
it’s depends on you………which one is more comfortable with your hand.
Should I leave the battery in my D90 or take it out when not using the camera? Because looking at the display I can still see something on my display.
I think it sounds a little better on a computer. The clips that Gordon used were recorded from the cameras built in speaker, which isn’t really good.
canon dont still manufacture cameras with the D prefix do they?
they’re all “1Ds,” or “450D,” as far as i was aware…
so id say D90 purely because that D40 sounds old :S
nikon all the way.
gear of the year award five years in row!
Great review, as always
The videomode seems to deliver a nice videoquality, but the audio sounds really awful. Kind of lo-fi, clipped and distorted. What a pity.
d90 or canon eos 500d … ?
i love my D90 so much.
See my Nikon D90 review at cameralabs . com - it cvompares them.
which camera is better? the D90 or the Canon EOS D40?
No. That view only makes your information smaller.
Does the D90 also comes with a graphic display? Just like the D60 where you can choose a traditional and a graphic display.
it’s like d60 with a video function.
d90 is still better
is this camera bigger than the d40 and d60?
btw im talking about the nikon d90…
does anyone ever have a problem like video lagging? when i playback on the camera its so smooth..but after i transfer the video into my laptop..the video is lagging..any help maybe?
Easy! See my D5000 preview at cameralabs . com!
what’s a difference between nikon d90 &nikon d5000
This occurs because the d90 uses a CMOS sensor to both take pictures and record videos. The camera records videos using a method called rolling shutter, which is basically like scanning the frame line by line from top to bottom. That produces the horizontal lines. I experience the same thing on my d90. Hope this explains the effect! =)
Well, even though the d90 isn’t superb at videos, the fact still is that it does video, which is itself a breakthrough in dslrs. However, it’s real strength is in taking pictures and is fantastic at it! =)
To show you which auto-focus point that have been selected.
