A time lapse sample taken with a Nikon D70 tethered to a laptop running Camera Control Pro. Assembled using Adobe Premiere Pro 2. Song credits are “Polaris” by Zero 7.

    uh, DSLR is obviously helpful because point and shoot w/o manual exposure controls will make nasty time-lapses with exposure shifts between frames.

    You need to be able to lock down exposure to make an effective timelapse.

    its not a movie, its many pictures put together. any camera can do that, even not dslr.

    I like smoke weed listening to that song, and it’s exactly what you feel, all become a fast motion when you are too slow, all it’s almost perfect, like this video so you get a 5 star mark, hehe

    I’m not sure what you mean by wasting more money on the D70s… The “s” is what you buy now-a-days and would actually make the process easier since you don’t have to hook up a laptop. If you already have a D70, then don’t go out to get the “s”.
