How much can I sell a classic Nikon FA camera with lenses for?

It’s a Nikon FA camera with carry bag and these 3 lenses:

-28mm 1:2.0 Ø 52
-Nikkor 135mm 1:2.8
-Zoom-Nikkor 80-200mm 1:4.5

It might be outdated, but I don’t want to sell it for too little. What price range can I look at?

Tell us what you think!

If in near-perfect condition, up to USD 500-550, and over half of that is from the 28mm f/2.0 (upper range if its the Ai-S, lower range if the Ai version). The other two lenses, although good, are relatively common and inexpensive.

You may see higher prices if you use something like keh.com as a reference, but you’re not going to get prices like that without a lot of work and waiting a long time for a motivated buyer.

You have a good Nikon outfit. Being a Nikon user, I know the value of your lenses and the FA camera body. If they are all in good working condition and do not show signs of heavy use, here is my estimate.

    Nikon FA camera body $300
    Nikon 28mm 2.0 lens $370
    Nikon 135mm 2.8 lens $200
    Nikon 80-200 4.5 l3 Lens $150

The bag itself has minimum value. So you have an outfit that can fetch you a thousand dollars easily.

the lens are worth more than the camera, Nikon no longer has parts for the FA so if you get 50 for it grab it and sell the lens seperate, they will work on the new digital bodies to some extent

I ran your kit through KEH’s quoting system, and assuming that the equipment operates correctly and looks good, they will offer about $550 for all of it.

Interestingly, the body is, by far, worth the least.

You already have a lot of good answers. It would now be best to try it out at eBay. Set a reserve price using one of the quotes and if the bids reach it, you get what you want. If no one reaches your reserve price, you still have your equipment.
