How do you make a light painting using a D90 Nikon Camera?

I have a Nikon D50 camera I cannot get my off camera Nikon flash to work. What could be my problem?

This a flash I use on other Nikon cameras but cannot get to work on my digital D50, all the contacts match. Could I not have something set on a menu?

We just got a new computer with Windows Vista. I have the software that came with the Nikon camera, we also have Windows photo gallery on our computer and a Windows XP version of Adobe Photoshop elements (would that run ok on Windows Vista?) Which program would be best?

Im getting a nikon coolpix s60 camera, does anyone know where i can get a 1000mAh battery for it?

Will my Nikon camera work on my new iMac?

I just ordered an iMac and it should be here by the end of the week. I have a Nikon Coolpix S9 and i was wondering if i will be able to sync pictures from it onto my iMac? also do you know if the software included with my camera, Picture Project, will work on my mac?
