Second wedding photography suggestions?
wcufan4life asked:
My brother-in-law is getting married for the second time and has asked me to be the photographer. Since it is the second wedding for both bride and groom, they’re not going all out with the traditional white wedding. I’ve been looking for suggestions for pictures, especially since I’m not a pro, but am only coming up with first time brides in white dresses. I know it won’t be a traditional wedding, but I still want them to have special pictures of their wedding. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I guess I don’t know what you mean by ideas for photos. Like poses? I need more information.
My suggestion would be to approach it like any other wedding. Use the same poses as anyone would on their first wedding. Just because the bride is not wearing a white dress does not mean that they don’t want nice flattering pictures to remember the day by.
Check out some wedding photographers websites or brides magazines for some ideas on posing.
Think about what kind of experience you have as a photographer? Do you have the equipment necessary to do a decent job at this or not? If you do not I would tell them that you can’t do it. You can’t do it over again so you need to get it right the first time.
Please don’t attempt to do this with a point and shoot camera. At the minimum you will need an SLR and a good flash with a diffuser.
Yes! Def check out wedding photographers websites and bridal websites. Also try to find a photographers list of shots. These have some great tips from the Knot:=
Hope this helps and good luck!
