I believe my sister is getting a package like that I know she is getting 3 storybooks and all digital taken on a disc which would be her negatives the photography will also be there well she is getting ready to and she is paying 2395 but she is in upstate New york and yes your location has some to do with it too
It depends on the quality of the photographer. I don’t recommend going with a place with multiple random photographers. You want to talk to the exact photographer who will shoot the pics of your big day. Then look at their work specifically and see if it is your style. There are a lot of different styles of photography. I am going with a more artsy type and paying a lot. I live in Delaware and i’m paying 2800 for my photographer and only getting a disc of the actual images. Those needing enhancement will be enhanced. Some pay as low as 1200 for what you are describing. It is all about how much experience the photographer has.
$2000-$3000 *minimum* for an experienced, quality photographer. Location comes into play for pricing, so your results may vary a bit…
Questions to ask:
1. Will YOU be my wedding photographer, or another from your organization?
2. What is your background/training/experience?
3. Do you have backups for all your equipment?
4. Are you registered/licensed/insured?
5. Name your f-stops from f/1 to f/16.
If you are shopping for a photographer “by the numbers” then you are going to be in for a rude awaking. None of that means anything if the pictures are (a) no good (b) not your style of liking.
Take a look at photographer’s work. Then if you like it, then it is basically paying what he calls for (or maybe little bit less if you can talk him down). But you shop for price and you get good price (not necessarily good pictures).
And don’t work too hard to talk the photographer down on his price. You may find that he won’t give the kind of attention on your wedding that you deserve. I this kind of ***** but that just human nature.
Good Luck.
In Florida I charge about $1800 for something like this but I am on the lower end. You could actually charge up to $2500.
Depending on location, I’ve seen packages like that go from $2500 up to $5000.
It depends on the quality not quanity of the work… You can’t “jazz” up mediocore photography….
It all depends on how awesome the photographer is and where you are. In L.A. that’s a good package for about that prices. Make sure you get in writing everything promised and when you get it, sepcific date.
I charge $2000 for me to photograph the wedding and web hosting @ picatage.com linked through my website. All the other stuff is extra they can pay for. Not all photogreaphers charge the same and not all of us are at the same level of expertise or skill.
You do get what youpaid for, I applaud you for willing to pay money. The photographer is the only person you’ll hire who works all day for you and gives(sells) you something tangible that will last for generations.
